The slight edge by Jeff Olson is the most amazing book i’ve read in a long time. I have nothing but respect for Jeff Olson. This is really a man worth googling and following as much as possible. He has created more millionaires than anyone i know in network marketing.

I wanted to review Jeff’s book, The Slight Edge, only because of the tremendous amount of value and life changing content it contains. Anyone serious about putting their lives on a definate path to happieness, wealth, good health, time freedom, and so much more, YOU NEED TO READ THE SLIGHT EDGE!

What is the slight edge? I’ll answer that question in this way. Everything that a person needs to do to be successful is easy to do, and those same things are also easy not to do. Pay close attention to the next paragraph or so because the value , if you get it should change your life. As i said the things that you need to do in life to be successful are easy to do right?

Then why aren’t more people successful? Everyday, and every hour, and every minute, that we live we have hundreds if not thousands of decisions to make. These decisions vary and often in the act of making them seem unimportant. For example think about health and diet everyone knows what we need to do to stay healthy and live a long life.

We all know we need to exercise, eat more fruits and veggies, lower our meat and fat consumption, we know these things, which are very easy to do, right? Guess what? Those same thing that we all know are also easy not to do. Why are they easy not to do? Well the reason they are easy not to do is because at the time that you make these decisions to eat bad food or not walk thirty minutes a day you don’t get sick right away and drop dead.

This is where we miss it so bad. We miss the compound effect. It’s not the one decision to eat bad food that leads to heart or weight problems. It’s making that bad decision over and over again for ten years that compounds against you and kills you. The same is true if you make good decisions. If i make a slight edge decision to eat a salad today does that automatically make me healthy today, NO!

It’s only when I make that slight edge decision over and over and over again that the compound effect works in my favor over a period of time. What people don’t understand is the slight edge is always working. Every decision we make is a slight edge decision. These decisions over time compounded will either take you to the top or it will be those decisions, over time, compounded that will take you to the bottom.

Every one of those decisions in the moment that you make them don’t seem to matter that much. The compound effect over time makes all the difference in the world. That’s what the slight edge is all about. You have to realize that every decision you make is a slight edge decision and i know i’ve said that a few times already but thats how important that statement is!

As I finish up i just want you to know that what successful people do is make the small, slight edge decisions that seem to make no difference in the act of making them over and over and over agin with consistancy and persistancy over a long period of time, and in that way time works for them and assures their success.

Thanks for reading don’t forget to share this content on FACEBOOK and TWITTER to help others get the same value from this content that you did

Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing
to do. I remember the very first time I heard those words from a gentleman by the name of Jeff Olson. I remember thinking how very
true those words were and i knew right then i would never forget
those words. I rarely hear simple, down to earth sayings such as this one.

That being said let me get right into this content. There are so many obvious differences between those who make it and those
who don’t, go figure? I want to talk about 5 differences between
successful people and unsuccessful people.

1. Successful People Take Action! Successful People know that leaders can’t take action without having first obtained knowledge, without knowledge how can you take action? How can you as a successful leader advance without investing
in his or her own knowledge? Unsuccessful people don’t understand that and often remain stagnated in life. They have a low level of belief in themselves and the thought that they could be in life
whatever they desired.

2. Successful People Show Leadership! Successful people increase their own value by investing in books, CD’s, DVD’s, etc.. all in an effort to become the best, most knowledgeable, the sharpest, you get the idea. Unsuccessful people waste time with TV,
games, and just generally have no motivation to do what it takes to change their current status?

3. Successful People Create Opportunities! They know nothing falls out of the sky or happends by accident. Successful people spend there time on income producing
activity. I once heard Brian Tracy say ” successful people fail far more often than unsuccessful people. They try more things, fall down, pick themselves up, and try again over and over again
before they succeed”. Unsuccessful people try a few things, if at all, and very soon quit and go back to what they were doing before.

4. Successful People Have Clear Goals! They know that leaders without goals are very much like an airplane without GPS or navigation, you could end up anywhere in life wondering how you got there? Successful people set clear goals with clear deadlines. They then make a plan of action to get it done. Successful people are in a constant state of plan, do, and review. Unsuccessful people know what they want, but have no clue how to reach
it. They never take the time to write down clear goals with deadlines; because of that, they never have any goals to take action on, oh well?

5. Successful People Know The Value Of Consistence And Persistence! They never give up or take no for an answer. I’ve withessed and have applied this concept to many of my personal goals ending in great success after a long trail of roadblocks and
failures. A great mentor that I admire so much once said ” It is impossible to stop a man or a woman that won’t quit.” That’s a powerful, and yet very true statement. Unsuccessful people start a task and quickly quit at the first sign of failure or trouble of any kind. It has been said that success is one’s ability to solve problems. I guess thats true because nothing in life worth having comes easy.

I hope you got alot of value out of this posting. If you did please RETWEET this and share it on FACEBOOK with your friends, family, and associates using the buttons above this posting, hopefully they will get the same value you did. Life is what you make it so make sure you make it what you want it to be.

Happy New Year Everyone! I’ve never been more excited about the start of a new year. I’m excited for myself but for you as well. This year I want to inspirer all of you to embrace a Millionaire Mindset! A Millionaire Mindset is the only difference between successful people and unsuccessful people. I guess a good question to ask would be what is your mindset? There are three things that you MUST HAVE if you want to be a millionaire

1. You need to believe it’s possible to reach your success- Nothing happens until it’s thought of, and once it still will not happen unless we believe it’s possible

2. Command of one’s self or self discipline- You have to eliminate ALL self defeating behavior such as drinking, smoking, drugs, negative friends, laziness, etc. Self discipline in absolutely necessary to reach success

3. Relentless, Consistent, Persistence- If we are not willing to pay our dues and put in the time and work long enough and strong enough we will never, ever, ever reach our goals and dreams. It’s really simple if you think about it. Here is a quote from a great mentor of mine to further explain “Successful People Do What Unsuccessful People Are Not Willing to Do” Jeff Olson

Thanks everyone for all of your comments, retweets, and facebook sharing. Share this information with everyone by using the retweet and facebook share buttons. I look forward to creating and sharing more motivating content, Thanks again

What is a “GURU” anyway? What makes them so special? You might wonder what they know that we don’t. Well a GURU is defined as any person who teaches or advises. Every one of you has greatness inside of you! Every one of you has a “GURU” inside of you dying to get out!

Today I’m going to EXPOSE how to bring him or her out. It’s really quite simple believe it or not. We have defined a “GURU” as someone who teaches or advises others, but in order to teach others you have to first be taught.

The great thing is that there is no limit to how much knowledge a person can take in. Taking in knowledge makes you strong, powerful and most importantly to your business, VALUABLE!!!

There is no difference between you and a “GURU” other than the fact that they have taken the time to become a student? No really,”GURUS” simply regurgitate what they have personally studied themselves.

Once you become a “GURU” you have a great responsibility to give your followers value to help them advance in their businesses. We all are trying to achieve our respective levels of success. Everyone needs to do their part to advance our collective goals

If you found value in these words please re-tweet, share this post on facebook, and leave a comment below. Thanks again and much success to you:-)

So I often get the question, “how are the top producers in the industry, such as Jonathan Budd, and Katie Freiling having so much success in their businesses? Why do they have so many followers? Everyone wants to know their secrets!

Well everyone, I have breaking news. Their secrets really aren’t secrets at all; they are things that we all know that we should do, but never act on. The truth is that successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do!

There is no mystery as to what makes a person successful, the mystery is finding the self discipline to do those things. Knowing is important but is only one part. I want to talk about two types of knowledge, “Learn Knowledge, and Activity Knowledge”.

You have to learn and most people don’t have a problem with this type of knowledge because it’s easy. Anyone can read a book, listen to an audio, or watch a video and get learn knowledge. The second calls for a bit more effort and that is activity knowledge. This one is very important for two major reasons.

The first reason is there is certain knowledge that you can’t learn unless you are actually in the activity. Reading a book, or listening to an audio, or watching a video can’t teach you how much pressure to apply to your break pedal. You can only learn that type of knowledge in the activity!

The second reason is the crux of it all. If you don’t produce MASSIVE ACTIVITY, not only will you miss out on certain knowledge that can only e learned in the activity, but more importantly YOU CAN’T HAVE MASSIVE SUCCESS WITHOUT MASSIVE ACTIVITY!

As you all know it is very difficult to make money or find jobs in a recession. With all of the company scale backs, lay off’s, It can be very tough to find a secure job in a recession? What are the best jobs in a recession to look for? Well, your education level is a factor, as well as your industry.

Some industries do better than others in a recession, but no matter what industry you’re in the more important issue is, what is your worth? What kind of person are you? Are you a sponge for information and knowledge? Are you a person who dresses sharp, with a great physical presentation?

Do you communicate your thoughts and ideas well? These are characteristics that make you valuable to any company in any industry, any place. So we have to have great value as an employee, and be able to communicate and physically present this to potential employers?

Some of you may not subscribe to or believe in karma and that’s ok; however, we all at one time or another have heard someone say what goes around comes around. We’ve all heard someone say we reap what we sow. If we understand this philosophy correctly, that’s great news! What this essentially means is we can dictate what’s going to happen next in our lives. You can literally set yourself up for success simply by what you do. Let’s use negativity as an example: Shouldn’t a person who is negative to everyone expect that their lives would be surrounded with negativity? Who do you know that really enjoys being around negative people. If a negative person comes to work late usually they would be fired, but if a positive person with a great attitude comes late, everyone wants to know if everything is ok? As Ms. Katie Freiling often says its reciprocity. You get back what you give. This is great news for you to know! Essentially you can craft whatever feedback you want to come into your life. Set yourself up for success by helping other people, giving of yourself, being positive even when it’s hard, because that’s what will be coming back to you. Spend your time giving those same things to others. Leave me your comment if you liked today’s video and I’ll be back to share more with you soon.

P.S. Share this with your followers on facebook & twitter! It’s not often people get to have this unique experience & vantage point on success… they deserve to “Soak Up” as much as they can too. (& They’ll thank you for it big time!)
