As you all know it is very difficult to make money or find jobs in a recession. With all of the company scale backs, lay off’s, It can be very tough to find a secure job in a recession? What are the best jobs in a recession to look for? Well, your education level is a factor, as well as your industry.

Some industries do better than others in a recession, but no matter what industry you’re in the more important issue is, what is your worth? What kind of person are you? Are you a sponge for information and knowledge? Are you a person who dresses sharp, with a great physical presentation?

Do you communicate your thoughts and ideas well? These are characteristics that make you valuable to any company in any industry, any place. So we have to have great value as an employee, and be able to communicate and physically present this to potential employers?

Another option is to start a home based business part time. There are money from home free opportunities. There are many ways to make money online and work from home. Best selling authors and billionaire real-estate investors Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki suggest that starting a home based business is the best way to become finically secure and free.

I will add that in the beginning of this article I talked about your worth and value as a person weather you are looking for a job or looking to start a home based business, you must have great wealth and value as a person. You must be a leader, a self starter, dependable, and disciplined.
